How can it be April already ?????

Time is flying and here we are in April already !!
This past week from March 30th till April 3rd  I was in the Hill Country with
 other artists painting Plein Air and having a wonderful time in the bluebonnets.
On our way home we decided to go on a photo expedition and take some wildflower pics for painting later....We were zooming down the road and spied a bunch of cars on the opposite side of the highway and people climbing up the incline next to the road with cameras so we knew there had to be something photo worthy .....my husband wheeled the car around, and my brother and sister in law did the same.....we all jumped out cameras in hand....there at the top of the hill by the fence was a beautiful display of red and yellow cactus flowers!
we were all snapping away when Mary, my sister , whispered in my ear...."Jennifer, they are silk flowers..."
well the joke was on us all.....someone was probably hiding behind a tree laughing and taking his own set of pics......
